Libby – Digital Books & Audiobooks

The library offers free e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, music, and digital databases year-round with your library card. Don’t have a library card yet? Register for a free digital card by emailing: libraryhelp@norwalk.iowa.gov and learn more here.

Note: Per the library’s BRIDGES contract, only Norwalk Easter Public Library cardholders who reside in Norwalk or Warren County rural residents will have access to the library’s OverDrive/Libby collections. Users can use Libby through their home library (the library in the city where you live OR the library your city contracts with for library services). Many metro libraries, including Norwalk, participate in the BRIDGES consortium, so there’s a good chance patrons will still have access to Libby through their home library.

Residents of Cumming will need a West Des Moines Library card as the City of Cumming contracts with the City of West Des Moines for library services.

Residents of Martensdale will need a Saint Charles Library card as the City of Martensdale contracts with the City of Saint Charles for library services.

Saint Mary’s, Sandyville, and Spring Hill residents will need to contact their respective city councils to encourage them to contract with another city for full library services including digital access to Libby.
