Storytime
Tuesdays at 10:30 am
Join us for songs, stories, and rhymes! We’ll have a fun, interactive 25-minute storytime followed by an optional playtime or craft. Geared towards children ages 2-4, though children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome!
Storytime takes a break in May and August.
Babytime
Starting September 5th, 9:30 am
We’ll share a short program of bounces, rhymes, songs, & more, followed by playtime. Recommended for birth-24 months. Older kids welcome along with you and baby.

Music and Movement
Starting September 5th, 10:30 am
Dance, stretch, move, sing, and play! This active, 25-minute program encourages early literacy skills through songs, movement, and play with rhythm instruments and props. Geared toward ages 2-5; children of all ages & their caregivers are welcome.

Bilingual Storytime/Cuenta cuentos Bilingüe
Saturdays, September 7th and 21st & October 5th and 19th, 10:30am
oin us for exciting stories, songs, & activities at this bilingual storytime in Spanish and English! Recommended for children 5 & under and their caregivers.
Nuestra Biblioteca se complace en ofrecer cuentacuentos bilingüe en Español e Inglés. Por favor acompáñenos a escuchar historias emocionantes, cantos y actividades. Recomendado para niños de 5 años y menores acompañados de un adulto.
Maker Wednesdays
Wednesdays, 2-3:30 pm
Make, tinker, and create with us! On Wednesdays when Norwalk Schools are in session and releasing early, we’ll offer art, building, and STEM activities recommended for ages 5 and up. No registration required, just come on by!
Graphic Novel Book Club
Tuesdays, September 10th & October 8th, 4:30-5:30pm
For our first meet-up in September, we’ll celebrate graphic novels with
themed activities and crafts inspired by beloved favorites. We’ll have
October’s selection available for pick up at the first meeting in
September. October’s session will involve a short discussion on the
book, followed by interactive crafts and activities. Grades 3rd – 5th.
Play Café Fridays
September 20th and October 25th, 10-11:30am
Enjoy some play time, coffee, and connection at this monthly playgroup!
We’ll have play and art activities recommended for kids ages 5 and under,
and free coffee and tea for their grownups. Free, no registration required.
Homeschool Meetup Fridays
September 6th and October 4th, 10-11:30am
Homeschooling families are invited to connect with each other and library staff and enjoy some coffee and snacks. Held monthly, usually on the first Friday. Each month we’ll have varied activities as well as information about library resources.
