We have playtime after every storytime, but once a We have playtime after every storytime, but once a month we're featuring EXTRA fun activities, outside if weather permits. This Tuesday, June 17th we'll have a sand table and water tubs to play with! Starting at about 11:15am until 12:15pm, either stay after storytime, or come just to play, either way is fine. Recommended for ages 2 and up and their grownups.
There is still space for BOOM! with Science Center There is still space for BOOM! with Science Center of Iowa on Monday, June 23rd. Why do things explode? This 45-minute science demonstration will explore the interactions of pressure, temperature and states of matter to explain why things pop, bang or blow up. Recommended for grades K-8. Registration required, space is limited. Please register for everyone that will be in the room attending the program, including adults.

Reminder that Caturday is cancelled for June 14th, Reminder that Caturday is cancelled for June 14th, and won't be held today. Whiskers has a cat-tastic conundrum of not having enough adoptables to host Caturday this month. In July there should be plenty of kittens who are old enough to attend and enjoy snuggles; the next scheduled Caturday is Saturday, July 12th from 10am-12pm.
